Clear guidelines for our workshop services. We believe in honest craftsmanship and transparent agreements for every pair of shoes and leather piece we handle.
All service estimates provided by Sole & Last are given in good faith, based on a visual inspection of your items. Due to the intricate nature of traditional shoe repair and leather restoration, internal wear or structural issues may only become visible once our cobblers begin the physical work.
If significant additional labor or specialized materials are required beyond the initial assessment, we will pause our work and contact you for approval before proceeding.
Our workshop prides itself on utilizing premium, heritage-grade leather and sturdy components. Because leather is a natural material, slight variations in grain, texture, and dye absorption are natural characteristics and signs of authenticity.
While we strive to color-match replacement soles and leather patches as closely as possible, exact identical matches cannot be guaranteed for aged or weathered items.
We kindly request that all repaired shoes, boots, and leather goods be collected promptly once you receive notice of completion. Items left in our workshop for more than ninety days after the initial completion notice may be subject to a storage fee or donated to local charities to ensure we have adequate space for active orders.
We treat every item with the utmost care and respect. However, Sole & Last shall not be held liable for preexisting weaknesses, concealed damage, or items that degrade due to age during the standard repair process.
